Laura Hawkins star of Sam I Am sat down and answered some question for UA.

Tell us your take on your character?

First word that comes to mind when I think about Melea is Confident.  She's tough and comfortable in her own skin.  She tries to look out for others while trying to watch her back as well. 

What do you think makes Sam I Am unique?

There is nothing like this show out there.  There are so many different characters and things going on, that it keeps you interested to see what happens next with each individual character.  Intriguing is a good word.
So far what’s been your favourite experience while making the show?

The people I have met.  Great group of individuals.  I love trying to figure out what's going to happen next.  It has been a fun experience!
Melea, like Sam has a power, what can she do?

Melea can manipulate people's minds.  She can make you see something that totally did not happen.  But, she also has the ability to make you forget things that you saw or did or know.  Man, I wish I had her powers!!!!!


How does it feel to play a superhero?

It's awesome!  I wish I had those powers in real life!  Ha ha ha!!!  Oh the fun I would have!


If you had a superpower, what would it be, and why?

I would want my superpower to be the ability to see when evil people are going to do hurtful and bad things to undeserving people and the ability to stop it from happening.  That way bad things wouldn't happen to good people.
